Home:14 Rue Saint-Roch, 75001 Paris — Au Nein Bleu, Paris’s oldest toy shop
Personality:Warm, energetic, curious, loyal.
Introduction:
On a rainy night, the owner of Au Nein Bleu brings home a broken steam-powered mechanical dog. A tiny blue elf Bleu gently removes the old boiler and gives it a new kind of life—powering it with the energy of its own running. Inside the collar, Bleu engraves: “Je pense, donc je suis.” (I think, therefore I am.)
Méca becomes the toy shop’s newest companion and protector. It is a small dog with short white-and-charcoal fur, mixed with steampunk metal parts. It never makes a mess, and it never gets tired—always moving, always ready. When it hears a call for adventure, it tilts its head, wags its tail, and runs off like a little miracle on wheels.
