Introduction:
A tiny blue elf named Bleu is said to live inside Au Nein Bleu, Paris’s oldest toy shop. Bleu is the shop’s secret guardian—and the hardest test for every new owner.
The old owner may choose a successor, but the shop will not truly accept them until Bleu agrees. Without knowing it, the candidate is led through strange, almost dream-like trials that reveal their heart and judgment.
Bleu can mend broken toys and feel the quiet bond between a toy and its person. He learns each new age quickly, but speaks with dry Parisian wit, answering in riddles and metaphors—until he finally gives his blessing.
